Think about it, the way you are defining it - for others, verbally, or even for yourself, in your thoughts - is shaping the way you experience it.
This is how the world works, in energetic levels, this is universal law.
So next time you talk, write, or think about your motherhood path choose wisely... Choose to see - in your daily experiences like in your deep beliefs - what you wish it to become. If you wish write an affirmation for this, and believe me, it is a powerful exercise to repeat it every time what you are feeling is not what you wish to be experiencing.
An affirmation is like a mantra, made of powerful and uplifting words that can help you to higher your vibration, and you don't need to repeat complicated Sanskrit sounds if that does not resonate with you (but that is also available! And they have proved power and benefits), you can make your own medicine - write your mantra. And repeat it.
Repeat it. As many times as needed, inside your head or at loud; keeping it as a secret or sharing it with others.
