Utthita Trikinasana (extended triangular pose)



Stretches and strengthens the thighs, knees, and ankles;
Stretches the hips, groins, hamstrings, and calves; shoulders, chest, and spine;
Stimulates the abdominal organs;
Helps relieve stress;
Improves digestion;
Helps relieve the symptoms of menopause;
Relieves backache, especially through second trimester of pregnancy;
Therapeutic for anxiety, flat feet, infertility, neck pain, osteoporosis, and sciatica (Yoga Journal)

And if you do it babywearing... (Can you spot tumtum tight to my chest?) it definitely deepens your connection with your child.

Nature III

Whenever possible go and practice outside... and feel how much power the surroundings can bring to your practice. Let the sounds guide you, the breezes caress you, the animals inspire you...

Vrksasana - Tree pose

Look at these amazing mothers flowing with yoga and holding a tree pose so easily at first class! And holding babies! Oh Uau!
As mums we are doing such INCREDIBLE things on a daily basis we kind of get used to it and forget how SPECIAL it all is...
Here to remember - you are AMAZING!!



This pose

Savasana (or corpse pose)


Calms the brain and helps relieve stress;
Relaxes the body;
Reduces headache, fatigue, and insomnia;
Helps to lower blood pressure.


This is a complete relaxation pose and that's what makes it so challenging.

I took some pictures TODAY at our FIRST #MotherAndLittleOneYoga and we can see mums relaxing WITH babies around! My work is done <3 this IS yoga.
